My computer is running Sierra version 10.12. I've spent days on end reading through questions trying to find the same problems but anything that has worked for anything that sounds similar has not worked for me so far. Click Download at the top of the preview pane, then click Download in the dialog that appears.

I have tried completely deleting a couple of the font files and reinstalling them - same thing happens. In the Font Book app on your Mac, click All Fonts in the sidebar. I have tried deleting the cache file for Word (multiple times), when it repopulates it's still the same. I have some documents that used these fonts and now when I open those documents the fonts don't show up unless I go to the font bar and type in the names (which is frustrating trying to remember all the different names exactly!) You can choose to create a new blank document if you’d like, or you can open an existing document on your computer. Open Microsoft Word using a method that matches your preferences. These fonts were previously always on my list. To change your default Word font follow the next steps: Step 1. From M-Z all that is showing up in the list in Word are fonts that are standard, and a small handful (maybe 5-10) of user installed ones. The other weird thing is the ones that are missing seem to be M-Z in the alphabet. I have quite a few hundred fonts installed. If I type out the name in Word I'm able to use the fonts, but they still don't show in the list of fonts which is frustrating.

Recently I noticed a good chunk of my downloaded fonts had suddenly disappeared from my font list in Word, however they still appear in the list in Pages. Choose the font that you want to add to Microsoft Word and then download it.

As a teacher I often use many different fonts in activities I do. Go to the font manager on your Windows desktop.
